I'm dedicated to providing trauma-aware care that is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to meet an individual's needs. I consider an individuals' unique cultural background and strive to work within their own value systems and worldview. I have a disability justice oriented and antioppressive lens.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals gain the skills, well-being and confidence to achieve the growth they want. Within these treatment frameworks, I draw from applied neurobiology, Mindfulness, and somatic (body-centered) practices as collaborate with clients to find the tools and coping strategies that work for them. I am trained in Eye Movement and Desensitization (EMDR) Therapy through the EDMR International Association, and offer EMDR both in-person and online to treat trauma related issues.

I am a warm and relational therapist.  I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and nonviolent communication in my work around relational issues. I enjoy attending to the relationship and process of counseling itself as a space for learning and growing, in addition to helping clients learn and practice relational skills in their everyday lives.

I am an authentic person who is naturally oriented toward existential matters. I enjoy using existential psychotherapy and feminist therapy with individuals who appreciate with these theories.
